And for the hair, I think I found a way to describe what I wanted to say before. Try defining the edges with individual strokes for the strands, then block in the rest once it starts to look solid enough. That way the hair will look less clumpy possibly. Also, always draw out the eyebrow hairs individually since they are small enough it's not much of a hassle and can help avoid a bushy-brow look, unless that's what you want.
Other than that, it's just spending time on something to refine it. Clean up edges and whatnot.
I'm still loving your lips and the eyes look great in this one! Adding some eyelashes could help outline the eyes and make them pop a bit, but it's not really necessary here at all (and it is possible to put eyelashes on a guy and have him look like a guy...just make them short).
