As far as eye shape...you need to just look at life and figure it out. I don't think I can really explain it well.

And try not to clump the hair like with cell shading. This is a habit I'm still trying to break too.

I'm loving his mouth and the way you shaded his face. Try to bring that bright part in his chin and have that be the same for the highlights for the rest of the face, so he looks more lively and the chin won't stand out as much.

That's about it. I do like how it turned out, and it gives me a better feel of what he looks like to you now.

Yeah, the eyes were a last-minute thing-- I don't think I did any shading at all on them, it was pretty late at night when I finished this.
