I woke up early today to go and do the SAT Biology subject test. I forgot my admission papers and had to go through to get a substitute ticket. This was not fun.

Then, I got at the end of a line where I waited for an hour before I finally reached the front and was admitted. I was the last registered person in line; all those behind me were on standby.

Inside, I saw a person with "Ae" written on their pants and was quite delighted. We moved along to the classroom where we were to be tested, finally, and waited outside there. While we waited a flock of black bird flew overhead. This was a conversation starter for me and girl whose name may have been Shila. I'm not sure, but she went to West LA Baptist HS.

The test itself was uneventful, and I'm sure I did well.

But then I realized it was around 10:30. I was supposed to have left at 9:15 because I needed to catch a flight to Reno, Nevada, for my aunt's retirement party. We made the flight, thankfully, and arrived around noon.

The party was alright. Most of the people were far older than me, but I hung out with my dear cousin Matt and his new wife Lael (lay-elle.) I got to know Lael a lot better, and she is a very lovely woman.

Matt has promised to take me shooting. I look forward to this very much.

Exhausted. It's been a very, very long day, but I'm happy to have gotten to know Lael better.

No matter who I pick I'd feel guilty, so I pick no one. I'd rather be lonely than leave someone out.
